BIPASHA AND EMRAN IN "RAAZ 3"
The Bhatts are getting a bit too sentimental on the return of Vikram Bhatt to their camp. So much so that they decided to start ‘Raaz 3’ on Vikram’s birthday. Vikram celebrated his birthday on Friday and the crew of the flick began the shoot on Sunday.
“Raaz 3’ is what can be termed as the ‘Horror of the hearts’. It is a completely new story, a romantic one at that, which would surprise and shock you. Yet again the legacy of Vishesh Films would continue with newcomers giving some great music to the film. I am sure it would break all records that films coming from our production house have created so far,” says Mukesh Bhatt.
Mahesh Bhatt posted some pictures from the first day of the shoot on his social networking site with related tweets. Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter has joined Vikram’s team as an assistant director. Bhatt tweeted, “My daughter Shaheen begins her journey as an assistant with Vikram Bhatt who was once my assistant!”
The film has been written by Shagufta Rafique. “It is a brave script which explores the horrors of the human heart,” Bhatt tweeted.

BIPASHA IN "RACE 2"
With Bipasha Basu insisting that her role in under-production RACE 2 is just a guest appearance that she is doing mainly for Abbas-Mustan, it has pretty much turned out to be a dampener for her fans who were expecting a much bigger part for the lady. Though the role is currently being kept under the wraps, insiders insist that it is all a part of a well designed strategy.
"It is good that Bipasha herself has spoken about the role since this pretty much dissolves all rumours surrounding her inclusion in RACE 2," says an expert, "On a lighter note, with Bipasha's screen time being bare minimum in the film, the trio of Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel can breathe easy because Abbas-Mustan can now be expected to concentrate better on their role and presentation."
When asked about how she would continue the character of Sonia that she played in RACE, Bipasha simply said 'no idea'. She added though that she has been assured her guest appearance would be important to RACE 2. "Moreover, a very important part of being in an Abbas-Mustan film is that they bring really cool style and flavour to the characters. They are extremely stylish directors and I am sure there would be something good reserved for me even though it's a guest appearance," she says.

AJAY DEVGAN AND BIPASHA IN PRIYADARSHAN'S "AAKROSH"
When Hollywood has already reached home and it doesn't require much effort to hunt for an original, netizens have quickly managed to hint on the source of "Aakrosh". The name that at the top of the list is not a Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil or any other regional film. It is Oscar winner Hollywood flick "Mississippi Burning" (1989) which starred Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe.
An industry observer says, "With the basic plotline seemingly similar for both the films, it wasn't hard to draw other parallels. While "Mississippi Burning" highlighted the divide of black and white, honour killing (which is the underlining theme of 'Aakrosh') is also making headlines due to cast divide in India."
"Also, both the films are hard hitting dramas and make an attempt to highlight a topical issue in a non-compromising manner. The actors chosen for both the films, in this case Ajay Devgan and Akshaye Khanna, are also known for their intense acts while the man at the helm of affairs, Priyadarshan, has always been known for his remakes. It is tough to ignore similarity points here", he adds.
But, Kumar Mangat , the producer of "Aakrosh" denies any similarity between the two films. He says with a straight face, "Aakrosh" is based on a report that had appeared years back in a leading national newspaper. I remember how we all were shocked when the news break happened around three college going boys getting killed because one of them was having an affair with a higher cast girl."
"There was a CBI enquiry done and it was revealed that police, collector, a local local MLA - just about everyone was involved. We always wanted to make a film around this theme, adapted it to the current scenario and made "Aakrosh", he states the reason behind making "Aakrosh".
Most probably the film going to release on 1st October, 2010. Whether "Aakrosh" bears any similarities to "Mississippi Burning" would be known then but by the look of things, it can be rest assured that this Priyadarshan film does promise to bring with it quite some drama for the audience.
Also starring Bipasha Basu and Paresh Rawal plays a vital roles in "Aakrosh" which helped in pumping the glamour scene with an item number by Sameera Reddy and Urvashi Sharma. The film also stars Kumar Mangat's daughter Amita Pathak as well as Reema Sen who was seen in Priyadarshan's comedy "Malamaal Weekly".

Bipasha Basu at All the Best promotional event

Bipasha Basu & Ajay at All the Best promotional event. In All The Best, Mugdha Godse’s character is shown to be rather credulous. She believes turning the phone in the north-west direction will bring good news or wearing a particular stone will bring her beau good fortune. What follows subsequently is a series of comic catastrophe. Producer Ajay Devgan ditched the ‘a’ in his surname endorsing the same school of thought. What follows really is a mostly loud comedy with stale humour and sloppy gags.

Bipasha Basu hurts knees while dancing for ad
Bipasha Basu can never learn Western dance because of her sensitive knees. When she performed the Tango for an ad recently, she could barely walk the next day.The actress says, "I managed to learn the Tango in bits and pieces while doing the ad for a deodorant. One has to wear high heels for the dance and I can't wear them as I have bad knees. I am always on flats and wear high heels on red carpet events, as I get horrible pain if I wear them for long."
Doing the Tango was painful for her. "My ankles would swell up and would hurt so badly the next day that I had to pop painkillers."
The actress has damaged her knees because of the wear and tear. "When I started out as a model, I would run like crazy without the right kind of shoes, and that took its toll on my knees," she informs.
"Now I wear the right shoes as I know that the wrong footwear can damage your feet and knees for life. Today with experience I am an expert on what shoes to wear and how to work out in the right way," says the actress who recently endorsed a sports shoe brand.
Bips loves all kinds of dance forms and adores the international TV show, So You Think You Can Dance?
She says, "They show some brilliant dance forms but I can't even dream about learning any of these dances, much as I would love to. My knees wouldn't permit it and that's something I feel terribly sad about that I can never learn any form of international dance because of the high heels, intricate leg movement, lifts and jumps."

Bipasha, Kareena, Priyanka are Bollywood’s ‘hot’ girls
Not everyone can carry off a bikini well. In Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra are the stars who do it with panache thanks to their attitude and confidence, say fashion experts. While Kareena wore a lemon bikini for Tashan and became the talk of the town for her size zero, Priyanka slipped into a sexy golden swimsuit for Dostana.“Kareena and Priyanka carried off their bikini act in their respective movies pretty well because they had the right attitude and confidence to carry off the two-piece with aplomb. They were sure of their bodies as well as the way they were looking on the camera,” ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani said.
According to Mumbai-based celebrity designer Gavin Miguel, Bipasha rocked the big screen when she wore a bikini in Dhoom 2. “Bipasha really took the audience by surprise with her bikini act in the movie. She looked hot, sexy and very confident. The best part about her is that she has got a well-proportioned body and so a two-piece looks good on her,” said Miguel.
‘It’ll even be nice to do a film together’: Shah Rukh

Shah Rukh Khan expressed that holding back releases from multiplexes was no ‘strike’ or ‘embargo’. “It is just a pipeline in the entire system that needs some working. We are not going to cut our nose to spite our face.
We aren’t fighting out of greed or for profit. We are fighting for equality. Our cry is ‘Fair rights for Friday nights’.
This is no show of power; the mission is just to bring about fair dialogue between the producers, distributors and exhibitors.
Every film should be treated equally,” he said. “We don’t consider the multiplex owners to be ‘mafia’. We’re passionate filmmakers who’ll continue investing time, energy and money in movies.
We are the employees of the audience and not of the multiplexes,” added SRK. Hopefully some good will emerge out of the dialogue between the forum and the exhibitors; after all it brought Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh together.
“It’s nice to sit on the podium together, it’ll be nice to sit in a car together, it’ll even be nice to do a film together,” said Shah Rukh. “We’re mature, intelligent people, I’m a little less intelligent than Aamir, but our camaraderie is really a non-issue right now. There are bigger things that need attention.”
‘We’re not splitting’: Hrithik
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has rubbished reports of his having split with wife Suzanne saying that he is having “a picnic” with her and his kids.A leading Mumbai tabloid reported that Hrithik and Suzanne have parted ways when she had moved to her parents’ house. “It’s too funny! Yes, Suzanne shifted to her parents’ place with the kids two days ago and I was to join her on my return as there is a white ant treatment going on in my house and a section of my floor is being renovated.
I’m with Suzanne right now having a picnic with my wife, kids and in-laws,” said Roshan Junior. It was allegedly reported that that trouble began to brew in their paradise after Roshan started becoming cosy with his Kites co-star, Mexican actress Barbara Mori. But none of this is true.
Deepika Padukone: Not insecure
A lovely bouquet of flowers was recently presented to Ranbir Kapoor in front of Deepika
Padukone. Interestingly, the bouquet was from a secret admirer who even proposed marriage in the greeting card that came with it.And girlfriend Deepika, instead of getting suspicious simply laughed it off. A source said: “The duo burst out laughing as Ranbir’s secret admirer expressed her desire to marry him. It shows Deepika is not insecure, possessive or jealous.” Well, we’re sure Deepika must be getting her share of flowers, too. If not, Ranbir can send her some... After all this is one ‘budding’ romance!
Mugdha was flying high
Mugdha Godse -- the promising newcomer from Fashion seems to be highly inspired by “realistic” filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. The actress wanted her drunk-scene from Jail to look convincing; so she actually consumed a bottle of champagne for a song sequence.
“For a song in Jail where Neil offers champagne to Mugdha, Mugdha insisted that actual champagne be poured into the glass. Madhur wanted to get the scene right and went for multiple retakes.
As a result Mugdha ended up consuming champagne sufficient enough to make her pleasantly tipsy,” we were informed. Of course the unit had reason enough to laugh their hearts out, but Mugdha was flying high and wouldn’t allow anyone to dampen her ‘spirit’.
